Objectives

1. To provide employment opportunities for marginalized girls through the provision of income generating skills in home management, food processing and nutrition.
2. To promote the spiritual, mental and socio-economic development of girls.
3. To provide educational facilities and programmes in vocational skills, literacy and numeracy training for marginalized girls and women from rural communities on health, nutrition and food processing.
4. To do advocacy on good governance and the rights of children and women.
5. Help girls to realize their potentials, and develop their talents, to increase awareness on girls’ development issues (Adolescent period), and to integrate them into the national human resource agenda.
6. To establish a community information resource centre which would serve girls and the community profitably?
7. To encourage self-reliance, fund raising activities, as well as lobbying for funds such as grants and donations.
8. To improve gender equity in deprived communities and help raise the literacy rate of girls in the Northern Region of Ghana.
9. To collaborate with other youth and women organizations, and encourage girls on tradition and culture.
10. To adopt brilliant but needy and marginalized girls, to provide them with relevant logistic support to enhance their education, so as to make them useful and productive citizens.
11. To assist communities improve on the Reproductive Health, STIs/HIV/AIDS and Nutritional status of deprived families especially women and children
12. To assist communities to build their capacities for sustainable development.
